A woman was robbed of the cash she withdrew from an ATM by a man who declared 'times are hard' – before he drove off in an Audi.
The 25-year-old woman was robbed outside Brimscombe Post Office in London Road between 12pm and 12.15pm on Thursday.
She had just withdrawn the money from the cash machine at the post office and was stood next to her car when the robbery happened.

Police warn of a spike in thefts from cars as they reveal an average of three incidents have been reported every day since the beginning of July.
There have been 62 thefts from vehicles reported to police, 42 of which were from unlocked vehicles, since Friday, July 1.
